Media Auto Recorder Pro is a Chrome extension designed to help users record permitted HTML5 audio and video from supported websites.

It can save recordings in high-quality WAV 24-bit / 48 kHz or WebM format, with optional audio mastering and buffering protection.

The extension is intended only for media that you own or have permission to record. It does not bypass DRM, encrypted media, paywalls, login protection, authentication, or other access restrictions.

How to Install Media Auto Recorder Pro

  1. Download the Media Auto Recorder Pro extension ZIP file.
  2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
  3. Open Google Chrome.
  4. In the address bar, open:

  1. Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Load unpacked.
  3. Select the extracted Media Auto Recorder Pro folder.
  4. The extension will now appear in Chrome.

You can pin Media Auto Recorder Pro to the Chrome toolbar for easier access.

How to Enable the Extension on a Website

Media Auto Recorder Pro does not automatically access every website.

To enable it:

  1. Open the website you want to use.
  2. Click the Media Auto Recorder Pro icon.
  3. Turn on:
Enable on this site
  1. Chrome will ask for permission to access that website.
  2. Click Allow.

The extension will now be able to detect compatible HTML5 audio or video on that site.

You can disable the website again at any time.

How to Record Audio

  1. Open a website that you have enabled.
  2. Open Media Auto Recorder Pro.
  3. Make sure Auto record on Play is enabled.
  4. Choose your output format:
WAV — 24-bit / 48 kHz

or:

WebM — original Opus capture
  1. Play the audio or video.
  2. The extension will automatically begin recording compatible media.
  3. When playback ends, the recording is saved automatically.

You can also click:

Stop & Save Current Recording

to stop the recording manually.

Recommended for:

WebM

Recommended when you want a smaller file and the original browser capture format.

Optional Streaming Master

Media Auto Recorder Pro includes optional audio mastering.

When Auto Streaming Master is enabled, the extension applies conservative audio processing before saving the WAV file.

This may include:

  • Basic EQ
  • Compression
  • Loudness adjustment
  • Peak control

For professional commercial releases, you should still verify the final audio with your preferred audio editor or mastering software.

Buffering Protection

If playback stops temporarily because of buffering or a network problem, Media Auto Recorder Pro can pause the capture automatically.

When playback continues, recording resumes.

This helps reduce unwanted silent gaps caused by buffering.

Free 60-Day License

Media Auto Recorder Pro uses a free 60-day license system.

No account or login is required.

Each license is tied to the Device ID generated by your extension.

The license is digitally signed, so manually changing the expiry date will make the license invalid.

How to Generate Your Free License

  1. Open Media Auto Recorder Pro in Chrome.
  2. Find your Device ID.

It will look similar to:

  1. Click:
Get / Renew Free 60-Day License
  1. The extension will open:
https://ifixproblem.com/media-auto-recorder/
  1. Your Device ID may already be filled automatically.
  2. If it is not filled, copy the Device ID from the extension and paste it into the Device ID field.
  3. Click:
Generate Free 60-Day License
  1. Your browser will download a .lic file.

How to Import the License

After downloading the .lic file:

  1. Return to Chrome.
  2. Open Media Auto Recorder Pro.
  3. Click:
Import License (.lic)
  1. Select the license file you downloaded.
  2. The extension will verify the digital signature.
  3. If the license is valid, the extension will show:
ACTIVATED

The expiry date will also be displayed.

License Renewal

A free license is normally valid for 60 days.

When your license is close to expiry:

  1. Open Media Auto Recorder Pro.
  2. Click Get / Renew Free 60-Day License.
  3. Use the same Device ID.
  4. Generate a new license.
  5. Download the new .lic file.
  6. Import it into the extension.

License renewal is free.

No Login Required

You do not need to create an account.

The only information required to generate a license is the Device ID created by Media Auto Recorder Pro.

Privacy and Website Access

Audio processing and WAV conversion are performed locally in your browser.

Your recorded audio is not uploaded to ifixproblem.com.

The extension only accesses websites that you explicitly enable.

You can remove website permission at any time.

Advertising Notice

This website may display normal advertising through Google AdSense.

Advertisements are completely separate from the Media Auto Recorder Pro license system.

You are not required to click, view, or interact with advertisements to receive or renew your license.

Simply use the license form normally.

Important Usage Notice

Media Auto Recorder Pro should only be used with content that you own or have permission to record.

Do not use the extension to violate:

  • Copyright
  • Website terms
  • Subscription restrictions
  • DRM protection
  • Access controls
  • Local laws

Some websites or media players may not support browser capture.

Encrypted or DRM-protected media is intentionally blocked by the extension.

Troubleshooting

If recording does not start, check that the website is enabled, Auto record on Play is turned on, and the page has been reloaded after granting permission.

Also confirm that the media uses a compatible HTML5 audio or video player and is not DRM-protected.

If the license does not activate, make sure the Device ID used to generate the license matches the Device ID shown in the extension, and make sure the license has not expired.
